Mini Turkey Burgers with Garlic Fries

"Big things come in small packages."

I like to believe that I am living proof of this saying, however, today I am talking about food. Last night for dinner I made one of the kid's favorite things, mini burgers. I like to make these smaller versions because my little ones won't eat an entire hamburger and I got tired of seeing all the wasted food on a plate. This recipe is made with ground turkey which helps to keep these burgers a little healthier. These burgers fit perfectly on the hawaiin rolls you buy at the store. Just top with cheese, dill slices, ketchup or mustard. I also serve them along with some oven baked parmesan garlic fries. Enjoy!!

Mini Turkey Burgers

1 1/2 lb. lean ground turkey
1 Tbsp. worcestershire sauce
ground pepper
sprinkle of old bay
1 pkg. King Hawaiin rolls

Mix the meat with the worcestershire and pepper and form into small patties. Usually makes about 12 burgers. Sprinkle with old bay or seasoned salt. Place on wax paper until ready to cook. You can pan fry these or grill them. I like to grill them since it leaves me less clean up and doesn't add any additional fat. Flip with tongs so you don't lose them in the grill. Slice the rolls in half and place the burgers on them. Top with 1/4 of a cheese slice, if desired.

Oven Baked Garlic Parmesan Fries

5 or 6 medium yukon gold potatoes
olive oil
salt and pepper
garlic powder
dried parsley
parmesan cheese

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cut the potatoes into fries and pat with paper towel to dry any water. Season with salt, pepper, parlsey, and garlic powder. Drizzle with olive oil and toss with fingers to coat. Bake in the oven for about 15-20 minutes, flipping with metal spatula after about 10 minutes. Take out of the oven and grate parmesan cheese on top.
