Strawberry Mango Smoothies

"Keep your cool with a fruity drink"

Since the temperature is suppose to be scorching hot today, I thought I would share my favorite healthy drink to cool off with. These ingredients can be easily kept on hand in the freezer or fridge so you can always enjoy a nice, cold smoothie. Also there is no added sugar so these are perfect for anytime during the day and the kids will love them!!

Strawberry Mango Smoothies
makes about 4 small servings

3/4 C. frozen whole strawberries, slightly defrosted
3/4 C. frozen mango chunks
1/4 C. yogurt (plain or vanilla)
6 oz. pineapple juice (I buy the individual cans, they last longer)
1 Tbsp. honey
about a handful of ice

Place the frozen strawberries in the microwave for about 1-2 minutes to defrost. Put all the ingredients in your blender and blend until smooth. Add a little more juice to thin out or more ice to thicken.

Serve immediately (obviously). There are many variations to this recipe. Use your favorite frozen fruit. You can also use fresh fruit, just use more ice to get the right consistency.
